Lavender is a multi-award winning documentary short film recounting actress and model Kaitlyn Figueroa's experience with the auto-immune condition Hidradenitis Suppurativa. HS causes large bumps and painful lesions to develop all over the body as result of inflammation and infection of the sweat glands, creating distress for everyone afflicted with it. Kaitlyn has dealt with the condition from a young age and it has affected her health, her relationships, and her mental well-being. But when she gets the opportunity to model in a high-profile video alongside an icon, she faces the challenge of presenting herself to the world, scars and all.
